If anyone has done an update against the geotools2 cvs repository in the
last 12hours will have noticed that everything has stopped working, this is
because of some restructuring work on the core module.
Ian and myself worked on the core and made it almost interface only, the
only code which should remain is in event and exception classes. At the
same time we redefined the feature table interface to simplify it and renamed.
I'll work on the shapefiledatasource and gmldatasource classes so that they
work again and implement a very simple featuretable. The threaded version
written by Ray will still be available, and will in the end be the best
solution, however testing the loaders in a multi-threaded environment was
causing some problems for now.
The small amount of render code that was in core has been removed as it was
likely to confuse anyone who read it as rendering will now be handled
Thats all for now, I'll post again once the cvs code is compileable again.
