Shane StClair created GEOT-4032:
Summary: TemportalConverterFactoryTest.testCalendarToTime failing in certain time zones
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 8.0-M4
Environment: Ubuntu 11.10, Java SE 1.6.0_26
Reporter: Shane StClair
Assignee: Jody Garnett
Fix For: 8.0-RC1
Attachments: testCalendarToTime.patch, test_fail_in_PST.txt
Main module's org.geotools.util.TemporalConverterFactoryTest.testCalendarToTime fails in time zones where the date at 17:01 is a day behind GMT (e.g. PST, AKDT). The attached patch ensures that the test calendar is GMT, although I'm not sure that is the correct intent.
