#24 GeoMail Error Checking # of Msgs

As GeoMail connects to a mail server, on the occasion
it finds any emails of any number on the server, it
reports an incorrect value to the number of emails
pending (reports 0). As the registry entry NumMail
stays at zero throughout the checking process, it is
assumed that the program itself is not receiving the
number of emails correctly.

This plugin is rather aged. We really ought to do some
updates to it. I'll run it this weekend and try to see if I
can detect and fix this problem, and if I can think of
anything interesting to add ;-)

* Maybe we could add a whitelist feature where it only
alerts you to new mail from people on the list.
* Maybe we could add MSN-style alerts.

P.S. I deleted the attachment, since I have the source for
the plugin anyway ;)

In addition to a whitelist, consider a blacklist. Some
people want email from everywhere BUT someplace, while
others dont want email from everywhere but only want it from
a specific domain or group or person.
