Hi Patrizia, another option is to define the logo URL at the contact level in the records. (see http://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/trunk/fra/users/editor/new_metadata/index.html#associer-des-logos-aux-contacts ) This is used here for example https://download.data.grandlyon.com/catalogue It has number of benefits including that you can have multiple logos, when the record is harvested the logo is always defined. It does not mean the same as the harvesting logo which is the source harvested catalog for the record. This will also be clearly defined in the standard update ISO19115-1. HTH.
