[GeoNetwork-users] Installation recommendations: GN + OpenGeo Suite?

G'Day all,

We started off with a straight GN install about a year ago which worked 
well enough. But getting various OpenGeo components (eg GeoExplorer) to 
integrate and play nicely in their un-bundled form has been an exercise 
in frustration.

We're coming back the other way now: starting with a clean install of 
OpenGeo Suite (CE) on Debian, we get all the suite components installed 
at /usr/share and Suite is looking, well, sweet!

Now, time to install GeoNetwork...ummm right.

Looking into the latest 2.4.0 admin guide we get nothing in the way of 
concession to existing PostGIS and GeoServer installs.

Am I missing some documentation treasure trove or can anyone offer a 
basic clue train?
