I'm looking forward to the 2.8 final release.
On April 27, there was a vote to do a code freeze on May 4. I have noticed
that there are now nightly builds of the 2.8 branch so I'm assuming that all
is going well. Based on the April 27 message, the target release date seemed
to be Mid to late June. Is that still a valid expected 2.8 release date?
Also, based on the trac web site, it mentioned that you may have release
candidates (which could push back the final release). Am I correct in
assuming that the (assumed) Mid to late June release was going to be a
release candidate release? Meaning the final release may be in mid-late
