When I press CTRL+ALT, all objects are permanently highlighted.
This is again in PST, using the installers and GemRB 0.2.8.

Do you just press ctrl-alt, or do you also do something with the mouse?

I can't get this to happen by just pressing ctrl-alt, but clicking on buttons while ctrl-alt is down does seem to make this happen.

I was probably clicking while pressing the buttons, yes. (I thought force-attack was toggled by CTRL...)

Clicking on buttons while ctrl+alt held can case this.
This doesn't seem to be overly dangerous, you can also unstick the highlighting, so i consider this a slight graphical glich, bordering feature.

Well, ctrl makes the release of alt unnoticed. So, it makes the highlight state stuck. I consider this a useful feature, you don't have to keep pressing ALT when you want to see the highlights. You never press ctrl-alt normally, so this won't make the game unplayable.
On the other hand, i couldn't find the problem either, it might be somewhere deep in SDL :)
