- switch back to previous tab by clicking it - scroll mouse - click document to give focus - triggers jump of a few lines

Can you try updating to 0.19.1 please, there was a related fix in that release.

tried 0.19.1 - still jumps to arbitrary positions on editor tab changes.

i would love to see a raise in priority here. reason: this bug causes source code getting dragged to arbitrary positions at times. really not nice.

What do you mean by 'last tab in line'?

    I can't reproduce the bug.

has there been a fix for this leately? using latest version from trunk i can not reproduce my initial report either. so, took another look. is it a bug or a feature that scroll position is not restored when scrolling a document that does not have keyboard focus?

open first file, scroll to the bottom (without giving it keyboard focus). open second file, give it keyboard focus. switch back to first file ..i get first file scrolled up to the top

anyways, have to correct myself. nothing dramatic.

    I don't think so.

I still can't reproduce the bug you describe. Scrolling a session file in view should be fixed in 0.19.1, it was broken in 0.19.

Geany 1.22 appears to correctly remember positions scrolled to without keyboard focus.
