All right thanks!

I know C# and C++ already and have dabbled in Java. I know ASP and have dabbled in PHP. I have just learned Bash scripting within the recent weeks. I think I have an ability to decipher patterns that enables me to learn a lot of programming techniques on my own. I knew for C++ there was like learncplusplus.com or something but I don't know of any sites for C. If you know of any let me know.

hm.. i can only speak for my way.

i knew php very good already, and C is like php*1000

but the syntax is very common.

you can forget books, there are no real good books for beginners.

the best idea is only to start something. (and ask programmers for
help)
or watch systems wich are currently developing.

the bad thing on GC-linux is, that there are no "base-tool"
developments, like it was on Xbox-linux.

a lot of tools we needed, we only "portet" from Xbox to GC.
and this is basically "fast"

i will look, if we could write some tools, wich are needed, and i
will then develop them "in public"
so that you can see "steps" and so you are not confused with a ready
big mega- programm.

I am also interested in learning C. What resources did you use in
doing
so? i'd prefer online resources so I don't have to buy books or
anything
yet. I have experience with bash scripting, how similar is C to that?

Thanks in advance,

you do not have to excuse.

when i started working on Xbox-linux 1,5 years ago , i not even was
able to programm C.
my knowledge was only pascal, fortran and ada.

but i learned quick, and a lot of people "helped".

But there is sure enought work to do in the background, and if it is
only writing documentation or something.

Search something where your interest are, work there with the
others.

Hi. I'm new to the list, and just wanted to say that this was just
the
excuse I needed to get myself a GameCube, PSO, a memory card, and an
ethernet adapter. (Should arrive in a week or two).

I hope to be able to help the project in some way or another. I'm
normally a Mac developer, and at a rather higher level in general,
but
I'm sure there's something I can do.

Is it possible to use the 1.1 version of PSOloader on the Mac, or
will
I have to use PSOLoader 2 in VirtualPC?

/ Regards, David
