I downloaded and compiled latest km-sources. Everything
seems to be okay. lsmod shows there are km_api_drv,
km_drv and videodev loaded. The problem is that no
/dev/video0 device are created. What's wrong?
My operating system is Fedora Core Linux 5 and kernel
version is 2.6.16.

My card is Radeaon 9800 All-in Wonder. It works flawlessly
with Windows Xp. What are the xorg.conf settings needed for
Tv and video capture. It would also be nice if there were
updated installation instructions and FAQ available.

Do you have the v4l modules loaded? (v4l2-common &
v4l1-compat) this should allow videodev to create
    /dev/v4l/video0

Sorry korzu, but I can't be of much help to you. I'm a user
just like you, I have no association with Gatos or ATI. I
know nothing about making a 9800 work, the lates GATOS
drivers SHOULD work. It appears that support from GATOS is
    no longer available.
One thought: ATI has finally started supporting newer
cards and has Linux drivers that actually work, on their
site. They might work with you're 9800.
    Good Luck!

Well, different user and different year but same problem under Fedora Core 7.
Does anyone got an idea how to solve that?
