Hello!

I have an older laptop with a built-in video card listed as:

none1@pci1:0:0: class=0x030000 card=0x003d110a
chip=0x4c421002 rev=0xdc hdr=0x00
vendor = 'ATI Technologies Inc.'
device = 'Rage 3D LT Pro AGP 133MHz (BGA-312
Package)'
class = display
subclass = VGA

The card has a VGA (and S-Video) output, but, appears to
not support dual screen mode -- the external CRT either
displays nothing, or displays the copy of whatever is on
the laptop's LCD.

Am I right, and the hardware is not capable of driving two
screens independently?

Is GATOS supposed to work with the card's S-Video
output? It does not seem to detect it, but I did not try
too hard yet.

I'm attaching the Xorg.log, in case anyone cares... This is
on FreeBSD-5.3BETA5.

Thanks a lot for your time! Yours,

-mi
