This is not a bug. At least, the code works as intended. The problem is that the interaction is non-intuitive.

Middle-click the object in the browser --- it should get a gray box around it.
Push the PS button.

Yes, I wasted a couple hours trying to "fix" this problem before reading the code more carefully. And of course the instructions actually say that you need to use middledown.

Check file system interactions

The load and save gadgets must interact with the file system. rotgut and I have found that the file browser demo did not work on SBCL because SBCL insists on having an :unspecific name and type component in order to get a directory. That's fixed, but we should check and make sure that these other gadgets work correctly on SBCL.

Garnet mishandles X11 display number.

Garnet doesn't know how to handle a display where the display number is not 0. It loses the display number when opening the display, and uses 0 instead of the actual number. This is easily reproduced by ssh'ing to another machine with X11 forwarding. The display is usually localhost:10.0 or so. Garnet doesn't use the 10 but uses 0 instead.

At least when running under Franz emacs interface, the PS command \(which should dump a description of a selected schema to the terminal\) doesn't function. Possibly an issue with binding the terminal identifier when multiprocessing. ACL7

animator pixmap display corrupted

The display of the animator pixmap in the animator demo is corrupted. Does not correspond to xpm file. This may be a general pixmap loading problem. ACL7
