For the start date, ie. like in task <task start="DD/MM/YYYY" ...=""/> it should be a standard
format, I believe. Mostly so ganttproject can more
easily be adopted into other projects using a standard
dat format that is widely known and expected.

I recommend a date stamp following the ISO standard
which would look like:

2003-10-07 19:45:15

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

Or in the case of the example above:

YYYY-MM-DD
