I installed gaia as a debian package. It worked fine, the program starts when i type gaia.
The output is like:
1170262563.977333 FPS: 119.576085, frame time 8.362876 ms
1170262568.977608 FPS: 88.928857, frame time 11.244944 ms
1170262573.993922 FPS: 89.656550, frame time 11.153675 ms
Well, the only thing I see is an empty square or an empty globe when I use gaia -w 3d. There are no pictures.
Can you help me with that?

I tried gaia in another network - without a proxy. That worked, but I need gaia to run behind a proxy server. Is there a way to configure gaia to use a proxy?
To download imagery, gaia uses CURL, which recognises standart environment variable http_proxy, so you should try something like this:
