Request: better Mac HFS partition support.
To enable dual-booting OSX & Windows, for example.
An OSX icon should also be added.

Please, write me to raster@rastersoft.com and send me an icon and the partition type it returns.

    Hello,

Using GAG 4.10 to boot the Mac OSX partition, I experience following error

    H000000000
    HFS+ Partition Error

Please, can you tell me where I can find this information "the partition type it returns".
I am using Linux, Windows XP and Mac OSX. What commad line should I type in to provide this information ?

I wish I can help better

  • When I read this message, I thinked that GAG was able to boot MacOS, and only the partition type and icon was missing. Unfortunately it seems that booting MacOS is too complex to be managed by GAG, so I think I won't be able to do it.

    Sorry :(

  • MacOS is often booted, on PC, using the Chameleon bootloader. Is it possible to somehow use GAG to chainload Chameleon, similarly to how GRUB does it?

By the way GAG is awesome, and I'd love to keep using it. At the moment, I boot Linux and use GRUB to chainload OSX but booting direct from GAG would be great! Thanks!
