Right now I am running the FC9 rpms on both an FC9 i386(my laptop) and FC10 x86_64 machine without problems. Instead of maintaining all of the virtual machines, have you considered just building the rpms in mock? That way one 64 bit machine can build whatever distro/arch you need.
