This is maintenance release, it includes mostly bugfixes and just a few new features. Most notably, it comes with Spanish translation and support for Cisco FWSM. Cisco FWSM is a PIX firewall built on a module for 6500 series switches. Firewall Builder is aware of options and features that differ FWSM from a "regular" PIX and can use both automatic and manual ACL commit modes for installation. Firewall Builder for PIX v1.1.10 (also released today) is required to generate proper configuration for FWSM. --vk |
