Playing with fwbuilder 2.0.7 Rev.1 ( build : 606 ) and trying to merge
with devil-linux 1.2.6 i have encountered a 'problem' in the compiler :D
As far as i can see, devil-linux stores ip and other commands
from my devil-linux machine :
root@...:~ # which ip
but fwbuilder compiler tries to verify the existence of this binaries
if $IP link ls >/dev/null 2>&1; then
echo "iproute not found"
then installation of rules fails.
Seems that may be the devil-linux 'support' was for older releases where
( i don't know and i can't verify it now ) some binaries where located
at /sbin and now moved to /usr/sbin
If I'm right, could be possible to add some type of check-box in
firewall settings to inform that the linux/iptables firewall is based in
1.2.6 DL and the compiler change /sbin/ to /usr/sbin when necessary?
TIA and regards

It's configurable. Select your firewall and edit. Select Host OS
Settings then select Path tab. Change as appropriate; you need to
check each one since DL is organised differently from others.
