    Hi all,

I am facing a problem to import an ASA configuration onto FWBuilder.
I have tried to save the config by copying the output of the "show run" command, and by copying it through tftp, but I still have the same issue when committing :

    3: Platform: ASA
    3: Version: 8.3
    Parser error:
Could not find enough information in the data file to create firewall object.

I am wondering why I am having this message. Is it a problem in the config file right after the version?
Or is it further in the file?

For information, here is the beginning of my config file :

    : Saved
    !
    ASA Version 8.3
    !
    names
    name 1.1.1.1 Name1
    name 2.2.2.2 Name2
    name 3.3.3.3 Name3
    name 4.4.4.4 Name4
    name 5.5.5.5 Name5

Of course the IP addresses and names have been replaced.

Let me know if you need more informations.

    Thanks in advance.

    EDIT :

I forgot to mention the ASA was running in multiple context mode, and I wanted to import the configuration of only one context.
Is it a problem with FWBUILDER?

its hard to say what confused the importer in this config without seeing it.

Note that fwbuilder does not support multiple context configurations, you'll need to import configuration of a single context as if it was a standalone device.
