FusionEdit M v0.03

This announcement marks the beginning of a completely new direction for FusionEdit. I'm even giving it a new buzz-word-o-rific title: FusionEdit M.

FusionEdit is moving out of the cozy world of desktop .NET applications and into the wild untamed world of prototype Ajax web applications. Built completely on PHP, MySQL, Javascript + XML, and some hopefully valid XHTML 1.0, FusionEdit M currently targets Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 7. FusionEdit v1.0

After almost two months of development since the first release, FusionEdit 1.0 is finally ready!

Well, not quite. The official release will be at 9:30 AM EST on kickoff day.

FusionEdit is an open source collaborative IDE for the FIRST robotics competition.

Partial feature list:
- Realtime collaborative text editing
- MPLAB import/export
- Network chat
- A shpiffy interface

FusionEdit v0.1

Website and project pages are up and running, and the v0.1 beta is available for download. Current features include:
- Simple backup system
- Built-in versioning and chat system
- Plug-n-play functionality with Microchip's MCC18 compiler
