Hi Miklos Szeredi,
This isn't a bug report more a query since I've found issues in FC 6.
When I run the command
[marc@... Desktop]$ sshfs marc@...: rah/
fuse: failed to exec fusermount: Permission denied
Checking the file permissions on fusermount
[marc@... bin]$ ls -alh fusermount
-rwxr-x--- 1 root fuse 23K Dec 27 04:21 fusermount
I tried changing the permission so that all can execute and read. The
issue occurs at /dev/fuse with permission denied.
[marc@... Desktop]$ ls -alh /dev/fuse
crw-rw---- 1 root fuse 10, 229 Jan 4 15:05 /dev/fuse
Now one suggestion is to be part of the fuse group however I'm not sure
if thats the intention with how you made it. I suppose I'm just getting
The only way I can seem to mount it is using root or the following
[marc@... Desktop]$ su -c 'sshfs marc@...: rah/ -o
You would have come across this before no doubt but I couldn't find it
in the FAQ.
Any clarification on this would be great. I'm hoping to have a write up
of it once I receive the email back from you at the following location.
