I've written a tcl interface to fuse 2.2.
It is completely event driven, and doesn't use libfuse.
It's by no means complete, but it is sufficient to export a read-only
file system from tcl to linux.

Thanks for fuse. It's a good facility, and such a facility has been a
long time coming in linux. I'm very glad it's finally arrived.

this is great!
i though about implementing something like this
being able to skip libfuse and talk directly to the
socket introduces much less dependencies on
having your code to read should make that
task a bit easier.
btw, if someone want to work with fuse-j,
i have a version lying around that no longer
insists on speaking UTF-8 with the unix-part,
but uses the system default encoding instead.
