I have a Philips TV and the documentation mentions fuppes as a server for DLNA. I have an openSUSE 11.3 system and installed fuppes from the repository http:/download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/bastianfriedrich/openSUSE_11.3/ The latest version here was generated in 11 Sept. 2010. The version is 0.660. I entered a device description for the TV in fuppes.cfg, but I have the feeling, something is missing there. I include the two config files below. On the webpages of fuppes I can see the directories with pictures, .wav files and .mov files. I also see in the database status numbers that show these files are there. When I start fuppesd I see, using wireshark, traffic between the server and the TV. However on the TV I don't see anything; the TV keeps looking for the server.
