I've followed the tutorial to start fuppes up at boot time without having to login at the wiki (http://fuppes.ulrich-voelkel.de/wiki/index.php?title=Startup_with_Init.d) but it still doesn't seem to work.

Anyone have any ideas? Possibly due to Jaunty Jackalope changing something and thus the script not executing?

    Thanks

      Hey

I had the same problem. Fixed it by making fuppesd start later in the boot process. Try this...

      sudo apt-get install sysv-rc-conf

      once that installs...

      sudo sysv-rc-conf

find fuppesd in the list and check boxes 0 6 and S

      Reboot and bobs your uncle.

Let us know how it goes.
