I am also having similar problems. I have used uShare which has no problems, but I am not able to transcode videos with uShare, and a number of my videos are not in xvid/divx or wmv formats, and don't wish to spend the time transcoding all of them manually.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I have just done a clean install of FreeNAS which uses Fuppes v578. I get the exact same problem as the OP. Fuppes says I have photos/videos/music etc in the db but the 360 always says there are no files in any category.

      Anyone?
