I've got this command to handle ffmpeg transcoding on the command line, but I've been unable to translate it into something the fuppes config file is happy with. Can anyone give me a hand?

    ffmpeg -i <input> -acodec libfaac -ar 44100 -ab 96k -vcodec libx264 -s 480x320 -b 512k -flags +loop+mv4 -cmp 256 -partitions +parti4x4+parti8x8+partp4x4+partp8x8+partb8x8 -me_method hex -subq 7 -trellis 1 -refs 5 -bf 0 -flags2 +mixed_refs -coder 0 -me_range 16 -g 250 -keyint_min 25 -sc_threshold 40 -i_qfactor 0.71 -qmin 10 -qmax 51 -qdiff 4  <output>

    thanks,
    fnord

How about this... If someone can point me to a reference on all of the ffmpeg properties that can be set in the config file, I'll write something to translate a command line into ffmpeg-speak in python, or php, or whatever would be best.

So, noone? Is this documented somewhere?

  • This really should be documented somewhere. I'll put ti on the wiki when i have time. For now you can look at the file: fuppes/src/plugins/transcoder_ffmpeg.cpp

To see the wrapper around ffmpeg that fuppes currently uses.
