#175 fuppes linking error on Ubuntu 10.10 (mavrick)

Hi,

I'm trying to build Rev 677 on ubuntu 10.10 (maverick).

I get the following error and would appreciate some help or guidance in resolving the problem.

    I was able to compile in maverick by first typing "autoreconf -vfi" before ./configure and make.
