Hi all,
two days ago I do already miss the forthcoming FTX tool.
Working as a QA specialst I had to test a SQL data correction script. The problem was that I had only a single test DB and I expected to find some defects. So I had to write a script so backup the data to be manipulated and to restore it afterwards. That took 1 hour.
If I could have used FTX, I could set a Flashback point before the tests, do the test and restore the DB state before the test in just 5 minutes.... read more
