I'm rendering a rectangle in which I want to center some text. I have
this mostly working by drawing the rectangle (based on the ftgl bounding
box) and then by using glBitmap to offset the raster position before
rendering the text.
The problem is that the left side has too much empty space. From
looking at the FTGL diagram at:
It looks like this is because of the bearingX offset. Can someone
confirm that this is the case?
And second, how can I get this value or the equivalent (so that I can
properly calculate the horizontal offset to pass to glBitmap)?
