Dear Frets on Fire people,
In this project I try to make a connection between a Brain-Computer Interface and Frets on Fire (project called Brains on Fire).
This will enable people to play Frets on Fire only using their brain waves, helping disabled people to play this great game!
Now I am no python expert, and I have some (simple) problems that I have to solve before I can make this work:
- Disable the Rhythm Button, is there an easy way to do this? I thought about making all the notes "hammer ons", could that be an option?
- Disable the length of the note, just hitting should be enough in the beginning.
- Timing should be less important, like it doesn't matter if you hit it 0.4 seconds later.
- Change the keys into BCI input (already found the key assignment class, so wouldn't be a big problem)
If I could get the game working with these simple things I can continue and improve it. Unfortunately I am currently working on a Windows computer and I can't edit those *.pyd files, I can change those *.py files of the Linux distribution.. how can I change the source of the Windows game in the same way?
At the moment I am just looking through the source code from the Linux version, but I am not able to test that on my Windows computer..
I hope someone can help me out here with one or more problems! Should be great!!
