You know the scroll wheel on the mouse? Well, I have something like that but for vertical and horizontal scrolling.
It works in other programs out of the box (chromium, evince, ...). Up/down also works in freeplane, but left/right doesnt scroll; it opens the context menu instead. Both directions (to the left _and_ to the right) behave as if I clicked the right mouse button.
---- additional_information ----
For the people who dont know: up/down is reported as button 4/5 from the Xserver, left/right as button 6/7 (seen with `xev`). But I guess the GUI toolkits should know that??
Another issue, not with mouse but trackpad, and sorry, I didnt know how to submit a new bug. Here the description of the strange mini bug
wenn scrolling with 2 fingers on the (mac) trackpad, it works fine
But if I opened on the map the secondary menu with 2 fingers (my “right” click), the scrolling will stop working. Mainly with formatting connectors per contextual menu, but also some other cases, rarely.
Solutions:
if I write something into a node (not only making with tab a new node = the use of keyboard is not enough) it works immediately again
I still can scroll with the bars
Tests:
The freeze is only in free plane, not in other simultan programs (nor does happen with any other)
It is the same on other simultan open maps
It is both for internal and external trackpad
ups, new test: it now was not happening, while I was working on connectors, but i made control-Z (apple-z) to undo and suddenly freezes again….
I use a mac book pro 10.1, mavericks 10.9.5, java 1.6.0_65, free plane 1.3.12. All my maps are quite big, normaly 200 nodes, actual 350.
