That initial bug you and I were both having, where the game would
segfault with a connect in MapWnd someplace after compiling using
configure is still occurring with me as of the latest code before the
two most recent commits.  I'm going to try again.

Zach, would it be possible for you to send me a list of key software
versions so I can compare?
