So what do we call things ?
    What | Currently named | To be named | Associated tooltip

Volume (UFS) | Volume | Volume | UFS Volume
ZPool | Volume | Storage Pool | ZFS Storage Pool (ZPool)
ZVol | ZFS Volume | Volume | ZFS Volume (ZVol)
But we still end up with two things called Volume.
Marion, since ZFS is the default filesystem used by FreeNAS, how about any collection of drives/partitions exposed as a filesystem be called a "Storage Pool" and any collection of drives/partitions exposed as a block device be called a "Volume". I would also argue that there's no existing standardized term for an array built under GEOM/UFS. Given that, we would have a slightly modified convention:
    What | Currently named | To be named | Associated tooltip
=============|=================|==============|==========================
Volume (UFS) | Volume | Storage Pool | UFS GEOM Array
ZPool | Volume | Storage Pool | ZFS Storage Pool (ZPool)
ZVol | ZFS Volume | Volume | ZFS Volume (ZVol)
That should cover the current storage technology in use by FreeNAS, but are there other technologies being considered?

So we basically rename what we currently call a "Volume" to "Storage Pool" and "ZFS Volume" to "Volume".

Regarding the tooltips, where do we place them? Currently, the only place where we are shown what the "volume" (ufs/zpoll/zvol/dataset) is is on the tooltip of the button used to destroy it.

I have never written code in python nor used django before so I suspect the changes might be beyond what I can do.
