Rel.: 0.686b3

Hi,

since the upgrade from 0.686b2 to 0.686b3 my disks are unregulary marked as missing and the server needs a reboot to operate normal again. I attached a part of the last system.log and my config file. Hope that Helps in troubleshooting. The system is normally idle when this occurs.. Please tell me if I should provide you any further Information. Was anything changed like drivers
for sata controllers or sth. since the last release?

Cheers,
Gerrit

    Hi Gerrit
What is the output for the command 'sysctl -a | grep hw.ata.to' ?
    Take a look at : http://www.freenaskb.info/kb/?View=entry&EntryID=260

    Regards,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

it was the default value: 5 .. I have set it to 15 according to the kbarticle now..
I'll monitor whether the problem still exits or not..
For a strange reason this didn't happen in 0.686b2..maybe the update via the webinterface
didn't work properly. I had a system hang during bootup today, too!

    thx so far..
    Gerrit

Seems to be fixed with the config tweak...strange though..
