I was running several copy sessions from an XPSP2 box to the FreeNAS server when it panic'd. This is reproducable.

Error on screen:
panic: kmem_malloc(380928): kmem_map too small: 20054016 total allocated
cpuid = 0
Uptime: 3m28s
GEOM_RAID5: raid5/bigdisk: device is still open. It will be removed on last close.
Cannot dump. No dump device defined.
Automatic reboot in 15 seconds - . . . . . .

    can you confirm that you have only 128MB of RAM ?
    using graid5 need a minimum of 512MB
