If you remove from “Disks -> SoftwareRaid” any RAID array before you remove the mount point of the RAID (see: http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1629287&forum_id=507589) it will remove the information from the config, but the array is still lock to the mount point and the disk drives will not clear.
You can “make” a new RAID on the config, but the old RAID information is still on the disks. Even the format disks as new fs will not clear the disks.

Solution: Enforce the user to umount or umount automatically before he can remove the SoftRAID.
