When CIFS is enabled, then a change is made to enable
or disable or change any other settings such as FTP
and NFS, or changes within either of those two, access
to the share using CIFS becomes unavailable. Usually
enabling USER mode in CIFS hitting apply, browsing to
the share to bring up the login dialgue, then going
back to the config management, enabling SHARE mode,
hitting apply, will result in normal access operation
to the share.

Can't reproduce the problem...
All service are independant, and configuring a service
reload only this service.

I am trying to reproduce the problem again. For example, I
just started the server, and had no access to the share
until I set USER mode, adn then back to SHARE mode.
It happened a few times when disabling CIFS and trying to
access the share (which I wouldn't be able to) then I re-
enable with share mode and still woudln't be able to
access. Then on another instance it would work find. The
problem seems to be sparatic. It may be the cause of
FreeNAS starting and stopping the service and me trying to
access the share before the service can start. Perhaps
enable advanced logging in the server if there is such a
thing at the moment. If not we can just ignore this bug for
now and concentrate on other issues.
