I have installed inkspace and opened the files. They are saved as a special "inkscape svg" and can not be opened by the web browsers, but it does not matter because inkscape is free too.

I've checked the files and they're saved as regular svgs marked with an executable flag. When I uncheck the executable option (in Linux) then they open (in Windows) under various browsers without any issue. If I have time in the next few weeks I can go through and remove the executable flag from all of them, but since you can see them now, then perhaps I will not need to do all of that extra work.

In the future, if we narrow down the colour scheme, I will make sure that the svg files are not marked as executables. :)
