I use the freemind in a usb disk, so I can use it in more
than one computer.. but for each computer i use, i have
to define my definitions.. Why don't put the
user.properties file in the same folder as where the
application is?

    Hi,

this is normally not possible, as the installation place is
a super user place where the normal user can't write to.
Moreover, you wan't to enable more than one user to store
its properties. Thus, it has to be stored in your private
folders, unless you change the place in the program itself
by patching the freemind.properties file in the freemind.jar.
