No

(not quite a new RFE item, but done like this to allow an
attachment)

The attached file contains a quick (hack-ish)
implementation of "user defined icons". It looks for
additional icon files (png files like those embedded in
freemind.jar) in subfolder "images\icons" of the folder that
contains freemind.jar.

For example - if the FreeMind jar file is "C:\Program
Files\FreeMind\lib\freemind.jar", a possible icon file might
be "C:\Program Files\FreeMind\lib\images\icons\extra.
png".

It's not highly elegant, but it works (for me at least - on
win98 and win2k).

cheers

John Dubery again - I've tidied the code a bit, and moved the
icons folder to a more logical place ...
if the FreeMind jar file is "C:\Program
Files\FreeMind\lib\freemind.jar", a possible icon file might
    be "C:\Program Files\FreeMind\images\icons\extra.
    png".

Code attached, based on 0.7.1 (zipped this time 'cos 2 files are
    involved).

hope it's of use to someone other than me

    Hi, me again -

I've uploaded a ZIP file containing the JAR file for this in case
anyone wants to try it. It is version 0.7.1 based, and reports its
version number as "0.7.1j2" in help/about. Can be found at

    http://web.ukonline.co.
    uk/jdubery/download/freemind/dist_0-7-1j2.zip

Contains the JAR file and 3 icon files I've made - all in the correct
directory structure and ready to drop into an existing FreeMind
    installation.

    cheers

    John
