When I export my map to PDF, the little circles that indicate a collapsed branch are mangled. Occasionally the end of an entire branch is mangled. Here are some samples, where the mangled circles and the one truncated branch are on the left side of the diagram.
Is this the same Batik issue as before? I'd really appreciate some help, this is impacting my thesis and I don't know what to do.
The image is cropped in the wrong place, I agree. But the word 'mangled' implies they are distorted, which they're not.
Anyhow. Although it is not ideal, I would recommend you add some nodes at the bottom and/or top of your map, and position them further out/up/down than your proper nodes, then make then invisible by changing the colour to match your map background.
So when you export your image should look OK. Good look with your thesis.
That's a great idea, Ryan, and it works. Thanks very much.
