    Using 0.9.0 RC10 on MacOS.

Under Tools -> Preferences -> Defaults it appears this is set under "Default Font Style".

I've tried color="#999999" etc with seemingly no effect.

Someone let me know how to change default font color (text color) and if "Default Font Style"
is the right place, point me to where the docs define the format of this field.

    Thanks.

Colors are referred to as "Node Color" which is really the color of the text in a node.

    And "Node Background Color".

To set preferences, FreeMind -> Preferences -> Defaults

It's unclear to me what "Default Font Style" under Defaults means.

Equally obscure is the Preferences -> Automatic Layout Properties, which seem to also relate.
It may be under Layout Properties "Number 1 Level Nodes" are same as Defaults. It's unclear
how these interact with each other.

Default Font Style is not for color as I have read.  I believe it's for Bold, Italic or Bold and Italic.
