    Hi, Does anyone know how to resize a node?
    I'm trying to compress a node from a long line of text into three shorter lines?
    For example, the node is 'Sometimes we see educators provide teaching during the sessions in their area of expertise'
    and I want to resize it to
    'Sometimes we see educators
    provide teaching during the sessions
    in their area of expertise'

    Thanks for any ideas

    I do not know quite what defines a "long node" but sometimes (if you have a load of text in a node? or it is not the "end node"?) then selecting the node creates a pop-up called "Edit Long Node" with the text ready to edit and you can add line-breaks using the <ENTER> key.

    You can also activate the "Edit Long Node" option from the Edit Menu.

    Maybe someone else will be able to explain how or when a node suddenly seems to decide to become a "long node" - I am sure it is not random :-)

    Hope this is helpful,

    Liz

  • After open the dialog box "Edit long node" you can switch to "HTML code view" and change the line
    <body>
    to
    <body width="50">

    Then the node is 50 pixels wide

    If you have some strange codes you could hit <f1> to switch the node back to "normal" formatting
    Then hit <alt enter> to edit long node.
