    I'd like to take multiple maps that share common nodes and merge them into a single map. For example if I have 5 maps, each with the same node A and different child node 'a', I'd like to merge them to create a single map with node A and the 5 child nodes as siblings.

    Anyone know if this is possible or how to do this?

    thanks!

    Leah, have you tried opening each map into a separate tab (do File|Open from the menu for each map), then, for the second through fifth maps performing these steps for each;

    1. click the tab for that map,
    2. select the child node(s) to be merged
    3. choose Edit|Copy from the menu
    4. click the tab for the first map
    5. click the common node ("A" from your example)
    6. choose Edit|Paste from the menu;

    and finally, clicking the tab for the first map, and choosing File|Save As... from the menu to give a new filename to the merged map?
