    This kind of sounds like what you might do in Visio or some other diagram software app to demonstrate the flow of information from a database to a service and then through a queue and then to another database.... Essentially it would be really cool if you branch out into many sibling projects, for example, then merge some of them back together into a single NEW NODE. This Node would not replace the original main node but this node would be independent enough that you would have the ability to map children or sibling nodes from another main node to this new node. Kind of like merging 2 or more ideas back into a common idea or theme or concept that was derived from the early ideas. This is feature request. Currently you can link to sibling or children nodes to another node however this node must be connected with some previous node which defeats the idea of merging to a new node.
