Are we just needlessly banging our heads against the wall with this default namespace declaration idea? I mean, basically, if the namespace was declared without a prefix, then it could just be used as the default. And in the DOM context, that just basically means that a node has a namespace URI, but no namespace prefix. And you can check that, and that check seems legitimate, since one is not using the actual prefix, just whether there is one. Jonathan > |
