Does the FreeImage C# .NET wrapper that now ships with FreeImage come under the same licensing (i.e FIPL for commercial use), or is it completely free (BSD or MIT) since it is just a wrapper of the original code?
I find the wrapper incomplete in many ways, and excessive for my use in some other ways. Basically I want to add, remove, restructure, and rename a lot in the wrapper. Is it illegal to do so without opening the changes to the source code of the wrapper to my users?
I would highly appreciate a response since I have not found anything that would explain this.
Any contribution distributed with FreeImage is under the FIPL by default.
As the .Net wrapper is no longer maintained (by lack of contributors), any contribution is welcome.
