Hi, Some issues with menus (I still have not gotten Chris's override_redirect changes--just did a download of the bz2 archive?): 1. The menu window is first open some where else (I guess the window manager's default), and then redrawn. When I move around the menus a lot, his causes a flicker trace of the "original" menu window to go around the screen. 2. If I do not select a menu, I can close the main glut window, and the menu windows still stay there lingering. The menu windows need to be closed automatically when the parent Destroy callback is called. All of this somehow makes me wonder if the best solution really is to have menu windows be part of the freeglut window structure along with the user windows? I know this reuses a lot of code, but it also seems to cause a lot of problems... Aleks |
