Hi Dee,
i replied to Jason about the setfocus issue. Then, Jason mentioned  
something about the SWP_NOACTIVATE flag, but i don't know what he was  
refering to.
Maybe Jason can give us a clue.

I was trying the menu not closing issue without submenus and this is  
why it worked for me. Anyway, i found out that the crashes are because  
of accessing unchecked pointers which happen to be NULL inside  
fgDeactivateMenu.
