Gentlemen, The following is also from the "feature requests" list: [ 1004368 ] freeglut on os x is it possible for anyone who has an os x machine to look over the configure scripts and find out how to compile and install it on os x. the error that i am getting seems really simple, but i'm not sure how the script is put together, or what settings are off. here is the error i am getting. someHost:~/Desktop/freeglut-2.2.0 someUser$ ./configure loading cache ./config.cache checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for mawk... no checking for gawk... no checking for nawk... no checking for awk... awk checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes checking for gcc... gcc checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... no configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables. Any takers? - John |
